Lucas Style Taillights & Lenses - As with our headlight shells, taillights are sourced from several manufacturers. Lucas was the original manufacturer with EMGO the main aftermarket supplier. The replicas are good quality copies of the originals, are priced very much lower than actual Lucas parts and are suitable for all uses except a show/museum quality restoration. The styles are listed both by the time frame when they were most commonly in use and by their original Lucas number. Both complete taillight assemblies and taillight lenses are available but the Lucas version is not always available.

Cafe Taillight Assemblies -
Two of our favorite taillight. The light on the far left is replica of a
Lucas pattern base and is available in your choice of a polished
aluminum or chrome finish. The one on the right is a Britax pattern and
available only in chrome at this time. Both are large enough to offer adequate visibility at night or
when braking, yet not clutter or overpower the rear of the machine. The lamp holders
are a clean, simple design
that sit on the included rubber pad and blends well with the shape of the fender.
They work best when they can be mount high on the back fender. The
mounts have been successfully modified to fit over our featherbed frame
loop (photo's available on request) but they may not fit the Commando's.
|
| Triumph Taillight Assembly - This was the unit used by the factory on the 1967 -70 T120, etc. models and it is suitable for both restorations and as a cafe light. The light & lens are Taiwanese replicas (Lucas available on occasion at a substantial price increase) but the aluminum casting, mounting plate, etc. are all English. The casting was factory notch to clear the stock Triumph rear frame loop, they should easily clear our feather and we have seen these modify to work on the Commando. It is a very nice unit, but is over triple the price of the two units shown above. - #E1950 - $129.00 |

Directional Lights -
We carry both the long stem and short stem versions of the directional lights used on the late model Nortons & Triumphs.
Both variations can be supplied either from Lucas, the original supplier, or from an aftermarket manufacturer at a greatly lower price.
