REAR SETS
At this time all our rear-sets are
constructed of chrome plated steel tubing, have rubber covers on the footpegs
and gearshift levers and are easily fitted. Most are produced by the original
supplier to Paul Dunstall and use a remote linkage to retain the gearshift
pattern .
BSA Twins
The only BSA rear-sets we have been able to obtain are those for the 1971-74
oil-in-frame A65. By the early 70's BSA and Triumph models shared many
components and the A65 - T120 were similar enough so the T120 rear-sets could be
easily redesigned to fit the A65. - #B500 - $289.00

Ducati Singles
These are available in both a Race and Street version and are suitable
for use on standard the 250, 350 and 450 models. Both models mount by
screwing into the frame lugs intended for passenger pegs, use the
standard rear brake cable, and use remote linkage to retain the original
gearshift pattern. The "Street" model also includes provisions for the
stock brake switch and is supplied with a folding footpeg and brake
lever to allow use of a standard kickstart lever.
Race - #D500 - $279.00
Street - #D501 - $309.00

Norton Atlas/650/Dommie
These rearsets can be used on all the Featherbed models fitted with
an AMC gearbox including the ES2. The adjustable remote linkage retains
the factory gearshift pattern and allows the position of the gearshift
lever to be set at the rider’s desired position. Like our other Norton
and Triumph models, the gearshift side is fitted with a folding footrest
to allow use of the kickstart lever. The brake side assembly attaches to
the stock brake rod and includes a separate “stop” that allows
considerable adjustment of the lever position.
Mounting to the frame gusset plate is accomplished by drilling a 3/8”
hole approximately 1 ¼” below and 3/8” forward of the center of the
swingarm pivot stud. See the Universal set shown below for a non-linkage
style alternative

Norton Commando 1969 - 1974
Designed to fit all the pre-MK3 Commandos, they are extremely rugged,
easy to install, and allow the use of the standard kickstart lever and
brake cable. The adjustable remote linkage retains the factory gearshift
pattern and allows the position of the gearshift to be set at the
rider’s desired position. The brake side also allows considerable
adjustment of the lever position and includes both a rotatable cable
stop to match the lever angle and a separate rotatable plate to
accommodate the original brake light switch.
The footpegs are mounted to the standard “Z” plates and is accomplished
by opening to 3/8” the rearmost hole of the three used to attach the
factory footrest

Norton Commando MK3 1975
The kit includes all the parts as illustrated plus
six stainless bolts to mount them at the same location on the “Z” plates
as used by the stock footrest. The remote linkage retains the factory
shift pattern and the right side footrest arm is retained as a pivot
point to connect to the rear master cylinder. This model is currently
sold out and we are awaiting delivery of new stock.

Triumph 500 Twins
Because of the relative location of the kickstart and gearshift
levers on the Triumph unit 500 engine, use of rear-sets on these models
that retain the kickstart lever and use a remote linkage will result in
poor shifting. We have developed a set which includes a redesigned
"reversed" gear lever and uses footpegs attached to plates which bolt
directly to existing frame lugs.

Triumph 650 Twins 1965 – 1970
The shift side incorporates an adjustable remote gearshift linkage
to retain the factory gearshift pattern and allow the position of
the gearshift lever to be set at the rider’s desired position. The
footrest on that side is of the folding type to allow use of the
kickstart lever. The brake side lever attaches to the stock brake rod
and an extended rear brake arm pin is supplied to reroute the brake rod
outboard of the shock.
Mounting to the stock engine plates is accomplished
by drilling a 3/8” hole 1 3/16” directly above the center of the
existing brake pedal pivot hole. A matching hole on the right side
engine plate is also required. (The engine plates in the photo were
custom made for a project bike and not currently available)

Triumph 650 Twins 1971 – 1974
The shift side incorporates an adjustable remote gearshift linkage
to retain the factory gearshift pattern and allow the position of
the gearshift lever to be set at the rider’s desired position. The

the gearshift lever to be set at the rider’s desired position. The brake

Universal (Rod Operated)
Originally designed as a low cost option to our A500 model, they are
suitable for most featherbed framed cafe's, whether Norton or Triumph
powered, and have been adapted for use on a wide variety of specials. The set
comprises a brake pedal (for rod operation), with adjustable
lever stop and fixed foot peg plus a folding foot peg for the shift side. Shifting is accomplished via use of a stock gearshift lever
turned to point to the rear. Needless to say, this reverses the shift
pattern. Mounting is by a 3/8" UNF bolt.
